Our Philosophy

At Belle & Bloom Co, we believe childhood should be filled with wonder, muddy hands, wild imaginations and meaningful connection.

Our philosophy is rooted in playful, sensory-rich learning experiences that unfold naturally within outdoor and community spaces, from sun-drenched parks and cosy libraries to local playgroups and welcoming community centres.

Through open-ended play, natural materials and gentle guidance, we create calm and nurturing environments where children are encouraged to explore freely, take safe risks, build confidence and let their curiosity lead the way.

Inspired by the magic of child-led learning, we cherish creativity, connection and community, nurturing little minds and hearts as they grow, discover and bloom.

Who is Belle & Bloom?

Meet the Founder

Founder of Belle & Bloom Perth WA - Liz Belle

Passionate Early Childhood Teacher (M.Ed) creating meaningful, engaging and joy-filled learning experiences where children feel safe, capable and connected. Servicing Fremantle, Kwinana, Rockingham and Coogee areas.

With a deep appreciation for the wonder and rhythm of early childhood, I am a passionate Early Childhood Teacher holding a Master’s degree and bringing extensive experience across schools, childcare settings, and community centres. I believe in nurturing the whole child through thoughtful, engaging, and enriching experiences that spark curiosity, build confidence, and honour each child’s individual journey. Creating environments that are both supportive and inspiring for every child in our care, from the moment they arrive, until the end of their creative led session with Belle & Bloom.

At Belle & Bloom, founded by Liz Belle, who brings over 30 years of experience in early childhood education, relationships are at the heart of everything we do. Guided by our ethos, “Where wonder grows wild,” we prioritise genuine connections between children, families, and the wider community, recognising the importance of a strong support network in a child’s development.

Outside the classroom, Liz is a devoted mother and wife, and a passionate advocate for children with higher needs. She has raised two boys, one of whom has autism and required educational pathways beyond traditional models. This lived experience deeply informs her compassionate, inclusive approach and strengthens her commitment to supporting all children and families.

Our approach fosters calm, nurturing environments where children feel safe, secure, and supported to explore, take appropriate risks, and grow. We are dedicated to creating spaces where curiosity is encouraged, confidence is built, and each child’s natural sense of wonder can truly flourish.
